Our professional team of podiatrists have many years of experience and are highly skilled in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of foot and lower limb conditions.
Our podiatrists are registered with The Podiatry Board of Australia through AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency) and are members of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW). Our clinic practices the strict codes, standards and guidelines set by the Podiatry Board which includes continuing professional development and adhering to compulsory guidelines on infection control set out by the NSW Department of Health.
Principal podiatrist Mark Gilbert completed an Associate Diploma in Podiatry in 1989 at the Sydney Institute of Technology. Mark has been in private practice in northern Sydney since 1990 and as a result has a wealth of experience in all areas of podiatry with a special interest in sports injuries, biomechanics and nail surgery.
Courtney Stevens graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2011 and joined the practice in 2012. Courtney is interested in all aspects of podiatry in particular diabetes management and nail surgery.
Louise McMullen graduated with a Diploma of Applied Science (Podiatry) in 1986 and joined the practice early 2015. Louise has a wealth of experience in podiatry after working across both the public and the private sector, and enjoys working in all aspects of podiatry.
You do not need a referral to see the podiatrist unless
- You are under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management, previously known as The Enhanced Primary Care Program. For more information about Chronic Disease Management Plan visit www.health.gov.au.
- You have a Veterans Affairs Gold card. You will require a doctor’s referral for the initial visit.
If you have Private Health Insurance with Podiatry Cover you can have your rebate processed immediately from our onsite HICAPS facility so that you only need to pay the gap amount.
